The North Penn Ice Hockey Association initiated the Academic Excellence award to further underscore the Club's  commitment to excellence in the classroom as well as on the ice.  To be eligible, seniors must have played at least two season for North Penn at the high school level and be in the top five graduating players in terms of class rank or grade point average.  In addition candidates must demonstrate the qualities of sportsmanship, leadership and citizenship.
