The Knights took on the CB East Patriots in their final Athletes helping Athletes Showcase Tournament. The Knights came into the game with a 1-2 record and wanted to wrap up the tournament with an even record. The Patriots got on the board early in the first to take an early 1-0 lead. Junior centerman, Tyler Greenstein tied it at 1 with a low wrist shot that found the back of the net. Patriots responded with their own goal to take a 2-1 lead. Coach Vaitis shuffled the lines and it worked as the Knights tied up the game with a goal from Jeromy Porubsky to make 2-1 and as the clock was ticking down on a power play, Ryan Cunningham shot through a screen with a goal from the point. The Knights were up 3-2 with 5 minutes to go in the game. The Patriots went on the power play and connected to tie it up at 3. The Knights had a mad scramble for the final 2 minutes, but had to settle for a 3-3 tie.
